If you have already condoned the act of the wife knowing fully well regarding her pregnancy before the marriage itself, a u-turn cannot be taken saying that fraud has been committed on you however in the domestic violence pleadings etc you can take a defence that to hide her misdeeds and protect the interest of the unborn child, you accepted it however when the wife started making unreasonable demands and harassed you physically taking advantage of the acceptance of fact and giving name to the child, the dispute arose and thus the mental cruelty can be taken as a ground for seeking divorce.
